Alex instead considers a three-day trip to Seoul from 2 July to 5 July and a fresh 90-day landing. That is not a right. Officers can grant a shorter stay or refuse entry if they believe the true intent is residence. Japan does not publish a "stay out X days and get a new 90" formula.
